Protecting workers at-height is a challenging task and is dependent on particular job site situations and individual worker duties. There are many fall protection solutions available to workers, each having its own specific requirements. Understanding each option and proper implementation requires oversight by an experienced individual with a higher-level of knowledge and safety training.
Confined spaces can be an extremely dangerous work environment. Identifying, understanding, and controlling the hazards provides workers with the ability to safely perform their duties within, or when monitoring these environments.
Every day, workers around the globe rely upon fall protection equipment to help protect them when performing duties at height. Although fall protection equipment is built strong for the environments in which it will be used, it is still susceptible to the rigors of the workplace. Both end-user and periodic inspections are critical to help ensure it is ready to perform if and when needed.
These programs will introduce different levels of rescue techniques to address situations that could be faced in these various work environments. Whether you have the latest rescue equipment, or rope and some hardware, the techniques in this course are based on using the available proper rescue tools to safely release and lower workers suspended in their fall protection systems.
