Safety Training Network (STN) Cancellation policy

In order to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of our safety services, Safety Training Network (STN) has established the following comprehensive cancellation policy. It is imperative for all participants to familiarize themselves with these guidelines to avoid any inconvenience or potential loss of course fees.

• Arrival Time: Registrants are strongly advised to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled course commencement. This time is necessary for the sign-in process and to ensure a prompt start to the training session.
• Late Arrival Policy: Students who arrive 30 minutes or more after the course has commenced will not be allowed to participate in the training. Moreover, they will forfeit their course fee and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
• Absence on Course Date: If a registrant fails to attend the scheduled course on the designated date, the course fee will be forfeited. No refunds or credits will be provided in such cases.
• Cancellation and Date Transfer: To cancel a course registration or request a date transfer, registrants must provide a notice at least 5 business days before the scheduled course date. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the full course fee.
• Attendance Requirements: Given the brisk pace of our courses, it is crucial for participants to be present for the entire instructional duration. In the event that a participant misses more than 15 minutes of instructional time for any reason, they will be unable to catch up with the rest of the class. As a consequence, the participant will forfeit the course fee and will be required to re-register for a future course date. However, participants who miss fewer than 15 minutes of instruction due to urgent matters can catch up during a scheduled break.
• Registrant Substitution: Companies have the option to substitute a registrant up to one day before the course date without incurring any penalty or additional charges.
• Transfer Credits: STN does not issue "transfer credits." Attendees who wish to re-register for a later course date due to reasons such as absenteeism, tardiness, failure to pass the course, being asked to leave the course, or canceling with less than 5 business days' notice will be required to pay the full course fee for the subsequent course dates.
• Course Cancellation by STN: In rare circumstances, STN reserves the right to cancel a scheduled course up to five business days before the course commencement. In such cases, STN will promptly notify all registered individuals of the cancellation.
